Alustriel is a chirpy woman and one of the chosen of Mystra, the goddess of magic. She welcomed the players graciously into her sanctum and asked them about Vecna. She tried to cast a Wish spell to stop Vecna but it failed, so Mordenkainen proposed his alternative plan about the Rod of Seven Parts and the Chime of Exile.
